Akeni Web Chat for enterprise im is an instant messaging system designed for universal accessibility and ease of deployment. The Web Chat messaging server can be set-up so that only users within the LAN (local area network) can access the server or can be setup so that users using the internet can access the chat server. With it`s browser based client there is no need to install any client side software. It is also firewall friendly and can be used whenever you have access to a web browser. The rich client support chat, notification and conferencing.
This product can be deployed as a stand alone HTTP server. The web messenger has a similar user-interface as the optional web clients for the Akeni Enterprise Instant Messaging IM and the Secure Instant Messaging IM server - expert edition |
