Edit4Win ist als Ersatz für das Windows Notepad gedacht. Mit Edit4Win lassen sich Dateien bis zu einer Größe von 2GB bearbeiten. Dateien können einfach per Drag`n Drop geöffnet werden. Alle Texte lassen sich mit Kopf- und Fußzeile versehen. Einfach lassen sich Sonderzeichen, Redewendungen, Datum/Zeit und selbst erstellte Vorlagen in den Text einfügen. Die Projektverwaltung ermöglicht die Zusammenfassung von Dateien eines Themengebiets. Mit der integrierten HTML-Palette können Sie auf einfache Weise Ihre Dateien bearbeiten. Die integrierten Codelisten für SQL, Perl, JavaScript, HTML und Cascading Style-Sheets erleichtern die Erstellung Ihrer Programme oder HTML-Dateien. Auf Wunsch kann SelfHTML eingebunden werden, damit dient SelfHTML als Hilfe für HTML-, JS-, CSS- oder CGI-Anweisungen.
