This LingvoSoft English Portuguese Talking Dictionary for Pocket PC provides two-way word translation and synthesis of English speech.
The new English Portuguese Talking Dictionaries for Pocket PC from LingvoSoft are not only built on updated lexical databases but also run perfectly on the most recent Pocket PC platforms. While the software now supports screen rotation in Windows Mobile 2003 SE, virtual keyboards allow the display of European diacritics on devices with a non-European ROM.
The LingvoSoft Free Talking Dictionary English Portuguese for Pocket PC has the following features:
* Supports screen rotation and VGA display, letting you consult your device in landscape mode
* Virtual keyboards support VGA and can display European diacritics on devices with a non-European ROM
* All English entries are complete with transcriptions and pronunciations.
* The user-friendly interface is available in several languages, with an easy toggling option
* MorphoFinder function helps you find source words (headwords) for English past participles, gerunds, plural forms, and adjective forms
* Advanced searching takes into account diacritical signs and ligatures
* Quick reverse translation is available for proof of correct understanding
* Quick search function: start typing in the Input Line and words beginning with those letters will appear on the screen
* The list for word memorization: the application stores selected words in the Filtered List ensuring easy repeated access
* The User’s Manual and a What’s New section (in English) provide extra useful information
LingvoSoft Free Talking Dictionary English Portuguese for Pocket PC is a free dictionary with a light word database for you and your friends. The functional aspects of this application are completely the same as those of the commercial versions yet it is more concise and takes up little space. Registration is free! |
