File and MP3 Renamer 99 lets you rename multiple file types with ease.
This fully configurable program can rename files in a wide variety of ways. Special features for MP3 files can extract ID3 Tag information for use as file names, or create Tags from file names. A `Preview` function shows you how files will be renamed before taking any action with your actual files.
The program`s `Rename From List` feature creates a list of all the files in a directory, lets you modify the filenames in the list, and then renames the original files with the list versions. Another feature replaces characters from an existing file series with a different set of characters. For instance, you can replace `serie` with `Anna` to rename `serie01.jpg` to `Anna01.jpg.` You can also remove unwanted characters from a file name (for example, changing `robert~1.jpg` to `robert1.jpg`). |
