Mit PostInfo Pro können Notizzettel an den Bildschirm geheftet werden. Dabei werden alle Notizzettel in einer Datenbank zur späteren Durchsicht abgelegt. Wenn PostInfo Pro gestartet wird, erscheint ein kleines Symbol in der Taskleiste womit alle Aktionen (Eingabe starten, History durchsuchen, Einstellungen vornehmen oder das Programm beenden) gestartet werden können. Seine volle Leistung entfaltet PostInfo Pro im Netzwerk. Über eine zentrale Datenbank können Notizzettel an einen beliebigen Arbeitsplatz gesendet werden. Für die Netzwerkfunktionalität ist ein Fileserver (Win 95, Win NT, Novell, etc) erforderlich, auf dem die zentrale Datenbank abgelegt wird. PostInfo Pro greift dort ein, wo der E-Mail-Transfer an seine Grenzen kommt: - einfachste Bedienung - einfaches Adressbuch - schnelle Aktualisierung (frei einstellbar z.B. 15 sek.) - Neue Informationen sind sofort lesbar auf der Oberfläche. Bereits die erste Probeinstallation von PostInfo Pro innerhalb einer kleinen Abteilung (6 Arbeitsplätze) gab uns recht. Bereits nach einem Monat konnten über 2000 Notizzettel gezählt werden! Der Telefonverkehr innerhalb der Abteilung ging deutlich zurück und der Informationsfluß wurde verbessert.
