Harmony Assistant is a complete music composition program with powerful tools.

The score editor lets you easily enter printed scores. The program processes almost all the break symbols used in musical writing, and uses them while playing the music. You can also place and move the notes on the staves.

The digital sound editor lets you record your own sounds from a CD or a microphone (or load a sound file like AIFF or WAV), and use them as instruments in your tunes.

Harmony Assistant can automatically calculate the chords which match the notes of your score, and show the score chord grid. You can then edit and modify this grid to rearrange your tune.

The program`s harmonizing capabilities let you automatically build accompanied tunes, with multiple instruments and drum background.

Harmony Assistant calculates tablatures and displays the chord diagrams. You can even define your own stringed instrument and calculate tablatures for it. It includes a complete library of guitar chord diagrams, and you can add your own chords.

You can associate lyrics to a tune, and let the music play in Karaoke mode. The program can also load and process the MIDI Karaoke file format (KAR).

A complete digital instrument database is integrated into the program, which provides high quality music, even if you don`t own professional hardware.

You can easily print your tunes, and a sorted list of chord diagrams.

You can import and export files in MIDI 0 or 1 or CMF format. Harmony can read `Band In A Box` style files and MOD files. You can also export the whole tune in AIFF or WAV format, which allows your music to be integrated in multimedia projects, or to be written on an audio CD.

Harmony Assistant can be installed in English, French, Italian or German.
