| Mit dem CoSyDat FTP-Manager können Verbindungen zu externen FTP-Servern aufgebaut werden und Dateien zwischen lokaler Festplatte und remotem FTP-Serververzeichnissen herunter- und heraufgeladen werden. Es können beliebige Kombinationen von Verbindungen zwischen Internet Service Providern und FTP-Servern angelegt und betrieben werden. Es kann Kommunikation mit öffentlich zugänglichen FTP-Servern erfolgen aber auch zu und mit Online Diensten, wie CompuServe, AOL und T-Online, z. B. zur Wartung eigener Homepages. Die Verbindungen werden mit dem integrierten DFÜ-Manager, unabhängig vom Windows DFÜ-System, auf und abgebaut. Heruntergeladene Dateien im ZIP-Format oder selbstextrahierende Archive im EXE-Format ( basierend auf ZIP-Format) können im integrierten ZIP-Modul angesehen und dekomprimiert werden.
