What is JigsawWorld?
JigsawWorld is a computer program which lets you construct and play with jigsaw puzzles
using your computer. The program comes with a set of ready made puzzles which can be added
to from our libraries or by creating your own.
The program allows you to save partly finished puzzles so you can complete them later
or, for the more complicated puzzles, finish them over a number of sessions.
When creating your own puzzles, you have a unique opportunity to be as creative as you
like. You may choose the shape of the pieces, number of pieces you want your Jigsaw to
consist of (e.g. 6 - 8 pieces for a young child or up to 2500 pieces for an expert!),
alter the background colour and choose the size of the picture you want. Every time you
create your own puzzle each piece is randomly tailored.
JigsawWorld has been developed to provide a relaxing pastime and offers a challenging
opportunity to be creative.
