MB version 6.60 is windows-based program designed for DNA analysis. MB is relatively small and easy to use program, which does not require Internet connection.
With MB you can search any DNA sequence for cuts positions by restriction endonucleases (also plasmid/linear DNA drawing), analyze amino acids structure, design primers for PCR. The program will display the total molar weight of an outcome protein and its chemical properties, you can also estimate the isoelectric point value of a protein. It also calculates number of disulfide bridges and chemical properties.
MB has also a molecular weight calculator, which you can use to calculate molar weights of DNA fragments, representing double-strand or single-strand DNA.
New version of MB includes sequence alignment tool, which compares structures of two nucleotide or amino acids sequences.
Some additional features, like visual library of amino acids, restriciton mapping, open redaing frame search (ORF), were also added.
