Newzie allows you to monitor hundreds of RSS- and Atom-based channels at the same time and to read updates fast by the help of various reading techniques; NewsBar, Popup Notifier, News Highlights, and News SlideShow. Newzie notifies you when new enclosure files, such as podcast, are detected in retrieved posts so that you can download and manage those files via Newzie.
You can also manage your bookmarks, monitor them for updates, and get updates highlighted. Newzie also provides full OPML support. That is, you can transfer your archived channels from OPML into the Newzie, as well as creating and editing OPML files.
Regarding Graphical User Interface(GUI), Newzie comes with unique features. You can use Newzie as a web browser, too. By the help of enhanced tabbed windows with resize&minimize support and auto-hidable panels, you can browse in spacious windows. |
