POPit is an excellent e-mail notification program.
It sits quietly in your TaskBar System Tray and notifies you when you have received e-mail and displays the number of messages displayed. The program comes with basic e-mail functions. You can scan mail headers, view and print messages, reply to messages, send text messages to any e-mail address, and even click on URLs displayed in messages. It features audible WAV file notification, anti-spam tools, the ability to monitor up to 10 mailboxes, pop-up message notification, password protection for mail viewing, the ability to launch your e-mail application when mail arrives, dial-on-demand, proxy support, and more. |
