As a network administrator or a division manager it is hard to gain an overview of the access rights within a computer network. Often each division has its own section in the directory structure with different access rights for each employee. So, it is not always possible to get a clear understanding of the access rights of each employee or division, because there is no built-in way to quickly view user accesses to a tree of directories. If a freelancer requires extra access rights but is accidentally placed in a user group that has access to, for example, quotes, then it can be harmful to the company.
