PowerZip 2000 Lite is a well-designed archive manager designed for beginners.
It supports most of the commonly-used archive operations such as compressing, uncompressing and viewing files. While PowerZip 2000 Lite was notdesigned with expert users in mind, most casual users might find its user interface rather easy and convenient to use and its features sufficient for most common everyday compression tasks.
PowerZip 2000 Lite includes built-in support for ZIP, CAB, RAR and ACE archive formats. PowerZip 2000 Lite includes a basic self-extractor for Windows, which enables users to distribute archives to people who might not have a compression program.
Other features include: ability to view files in archives, long file name support, drag and drop support and the ability to copy/move/rename archives as well as send them via e-mail. |
