QuickSearcher has an ability to preview search results. It highlights the found word and the text near found position. QuickSearcher’s preview helps to decide whether you want to open file or it is just a word coincidence and you need the next file from search result. Preview function is also helpful when replacing text in files. QuickSearcher lets to choose if you want to replace that very word or skip it.
QuickSearcher lets save favorite search settings. It is one of the best parts of it’s ability. For example, I have text documents on my Desktop and in “My Documents” folder. With QuickSearcher I can create a search favorite with name “My Docs”, by specifying search paths of desktop and “my documents” folder and files types (files extensions – doc, txt, pdf).
All it seems to be not easy to do, but QuickSearcher has several animated lessons which help user to learn QuickSearcher faster. QuickSearcher shows itself what is “context preview” and how can user create the favorite search settings.
QuickSearcher has an abilities to work with search results: it can summarize and save search results. Trying to find some important information we can enter wide search criterion first and then use `search within results` and `add search results` to find the exact file we need. Such an `arbitrary` search usually gives a great result.
QuickSearcher’s backup option helps to prevent data lost or damage. At any time QuickSearcher can save all user’s setting and restore when need.
Security options of QuickSearcher allow to clear all history records concerned previous searches.
All this features make QuickSearcher a use-friendly program which will ease the routine and complicated search work. |
