SimpleIndex automates the process of scanning, organizing & storing business document images. SimpleIndex has the most streamlined interface for single-workstation scanning on the market. Powerful barcode recognition and OCR options take the manual labor out of going paperless. Database integration and command line interfaces make it easy for developers to add document scanning to their custom applications.

SimpleIndex can also be used as a network document management system using any custom database to store index information. You can even create standalone document image CDs that can be searched with SimpleIndex on any computer for free.
SimpleIndex is the perfect tool for developers to add document scanning and management capabilities to their custom software. All SimpleIndex settings can be saved to a file that can be called from a command line. Index values and other settings can also be passed. When you do this SimpleIndex runs the specified configuration automatically--scanning, indexing and saving the documents without user intervention. Why reinvent the wheel with an SDK, API or ActiveX control when two lines of code can launch your scanning and viewing configurations from the command line?
SimpleIndex is also the perfect front-end for your existing document management system, making it possible to distribute scanning across multiple locations and dramatically reduce shipping and labor costs in the process. By creating standard TIFF, JPEG and PDF images, with index information in a comma-delimited text file, SimpleIndex output can be imported into virtually any document management system.
