| This is an aftermarket software product designed for use with very low cost Phidget(tm) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Readers and with Digital I/O boards such as the BSoft(tm) Dig100/24. When used with the proper hardware, this software will allow you to uniquely identify and log people, animals, inventory, products or any other objects affixed with an authorized RFID `Tag`. This software will also provide you with the ability to automatically remote control devices such as relays, doors, gates, lights, appliances, etc., using RFID Tags. The remote control function will work in `manual mode`, without using RFID Tags, on Windows 95/98 and later versions. However, the RFID component and, consequently, the `automatic` remote control of devices by the use of RFID Tags will only work with Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Conversely, you can use this product with Windows 2000 or Windows XP to read and log Phidget RFID Tags without using an I/O board if you do not need to control devices.
