Texture Maker is a seamless texture generator and designer.
The application contains everything needed to create seamless textures for use in 3Drendering packages, game development, web graphics, image and video editing.
Texture Maker can create procedural and hand painted textures from scratch, removevisible seams from existing images, crop textures from photos by applying a perspectivecorrection, render seamless tiles from structure sample patches and combine existing textures and height maps with realistic illumination.
Texture Maker features standard operations like filters, color correction, distortionand emboss effects, that are designed to work with seamless textures. The various generatorfunctions create patterns and natural textures such as bricks, flagstone, clouds, water,rock and wood. Sophisticated effects like realistic erosion create textures that look likethey were taken from nature.
The application renders animated textures and effects, that also loop seamlessly, with a particle system and the generator functions. The animation recorder can process and create texture sequences.
All textures can be previewed in 3D on standard primitives, on pre-rendered models and visualizedwith the integrated landscape renderer that also creates panoramas and cubic environment maps.
The program can be extended with plugins and automates complex operations with its scriptingabilities. Nearly all functions take advantage of multiple CPUs in the system. |
